As our culture evolves in its pursuit of true health and happiness, there is much research amassing about the short and long term benefits mindfulness and meditation. This series will help you commit or recommit to practice – we will cover the basics of walking and sitting meditation, including best postures, as well as discuss the neuroscience of meditator’s mind, practical applications, techniques from various traditions to give you a range of experience, and ways to get your practice time in. Workshop series includes handouts, coursework for between classes, and the 3 week series. All levels welcome.
