Join Shannon and Ingrid for a women’s only afternoon of yoga, acupuncture and luminary/lantern making designed to cultivate joy, connection, creativity, and kindness of spirit.
All of our practice will center on celebrating Springtime through movement, creativity and learning. Shannon will guide a gentle yoga practice centered on kindness. Ingrid will use her skillful Acupuncture healing to help you move energy and feel brighter. Together we will spend time creating “luminaries,” which are beautiful paper lanterns. Our evening ends by lighting up the practice space with the warm light of the lanterns. This will be a special day infused with movement, community and heart-warming goodness.

Instructor — Shannon Bronson
Shannon is yogini, artist and mother. Her intention is to these paths together to invent intelligent and compassionately creative platforms to bring positivity in the world. She works one heart at a time, starting with her own.
Shannon’s life blossomed when she fully embraced yoga. Yoga was the sanctuary in which healed her own traumas. Her practice gave her the courage to she leave the Urban Design world to dedicate her life to it’s study.
Shannon understands that to be a great teacher is to always be learning. She has a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of Puget Sound, a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin and an RYT500 from Triveni Yoga. Triveni is a vinyasa-based style of yoga that combines asana, meditation with a focus on the subtle body to profoundly transform the practitioner inside and out. She travels internationally with the Triveni team to teach teacher trainings and conduct art, yoga and meditation workshops.
Shannon bows to the lotus at the feet of her teachers Jessica and Stéphane Dreyfus, Elise Lorimer, Betty Roi and Carolyn Cooper for sending their light into her life.
Instructor — Ingrid Peterson, L.Ac
Ingrid takes an integrative approach to Chinese Medicine to help patients reverse their growing list of seemingly unrelated symptoms and clear stress from the nervous system.
She has practiced acupuncture in SF for 6 years and currently divides her time between Airbnb corporate headquarters and her clinic in the Mission District.
Ingrid spent three years living in China experiencing the rich culture and deepening her appreciation for the medicine. She received her Masters in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in 2011.
