Janine Fondiller is a Yoga & Pilates instructor with 20 years of experience and a unique, cross-disciplinary approach to teaching. Janineʼs love of movement was inspired by her many years as a dancer and aerialist. She is a Master Instructor for Balanced Body and leads comprehensive Teacher Training programs at EHS Pilates. Recently, she completed a 200-hour Certification in Yoga and Mindfulness at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. This is her second 200-hour program. Her yoga classes offer a mindful approach to asana and alignment, cultivating a deeper awareness of body and breath, and are accessible for students of all levels.
Janine specializes in teaching private sessions with a focus on strengthening and conditioning and is especially passionate about using Pilates as a rehabilitative practice for injury recovery and prevention. She leads Yoga and Pilates retreats and believes that going on retreat can be an incredibly nourishing gift for one’s self, allowing space for slowing down and deepening our practice. When she’s not hard at work in the studio, Janine enjoys epic travel adventures near and far, standup paddle boarding, learning to play the ukulele, and riding her red bicycle around town.
