Kate’s classes focus on revitalizing awareness and refreshing the way we inhabit our own space. Whether you find her in classes of Hatha or Restorative Yoga, or in her school’s acupuncture clinic, she guides those she’s working with to reconnect with their own qi, or prana, with continuity and curiosity. Her devotion to yogic practice sprouted amidst the rice seedlings of rural Japan in 2000.
It continues to nourish and re-seed in the light of her primary teachers Kristie Home, Judith Lasater and Scott Blossom, with whom she has studied since 2005, 2006 and 2008 respectively. She continues to draw inspiration from myriad traditions of wisdom such as vipassana meditation, reiki and ayurveda. She is currently most deeply immersed in the study of Shadow Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
