The first CORE! series of 2014 will help you to create inspiration, ease, and satisfying healing rhythms in the ways you care for yourself. We will explore kindness / metta as a way to live from center, grounded in the present moment and the body to live more passionate, intelligent, rich lives. If you’ve been living with chronic stress and a desire for deeper self-care, this course, will slow you down to nourish and strengthen your physical body, while opening and educating your mind to best personalized self-care practices. Each class builds suppleness in body, to improve posture and breathing, and use engaged philosophy to create more peace and presence, and less chaos. Mudra and pranayama will complement the asana. Guidelines implementing healthy nutrition, yoga at home/office, and sound sleep to build healthy bodies

The special CORE! series at Bernal is uniquely designed to explore the deeper practices and benefits of yoga. Traci Joy Burleigh adeptly guides you through asana, pranayama, meditation, mudra, philosophy in action, anatomy, and nutrition to assist you in living from center, physically and spiritually. Accessing our physical core gives rise to deeper inquiry, helping to uncover personal truth and limitations. The series consist of 4-6 weeks, each one specializing in a thoughtfully crafted set of themes layered together to give you an in-depth and embodied experience. Registration for series highly encouraged – drop-ins welcome. Class passes not applicable to this specially priced series.
