Bernal Yoga is centrally located in the heart of Bernal Heights in San Francisco, California at 908 Cortland Avenue near Folsom Street.

Since 2002, Bernal Yoga has been both a foundation in the Bernal Heights community and one of the original community-based yoga studios in the Bay Area. The original studio was across from The Good Life Grocery where Kempo Karate is now located. In May 2012, Bernal Yoga moved five blocks east to our current location at 908 Cortland Ave.

The new larger studio space is clean, modern, warm, and full of natural light.

Current students remark continually about how the studio is a nurturing environment that not only welcomes the first time student but offers a variety of classes and instructors for the more experienced practitioner. Bernal Yoga is and always has been a studio for all ages and abilities.

Bernal Yoga’s instructors offer quality teaching and practice experience, as well as a passion for Yoga, Pilates and mindfulness based practices.

Our managing director, Shelley Eades, and studio assistant, Nico Bonvouloir are an integral part of what makes Bernal Yoga stand out as both a welcoming, highly-regarded, and fun place to practice as well as to work and teach.

You can contact the management team by email: shelley@bernalyoga.com and info@bernalyoga.com. Often times you will also find them at the studio before, between, during and after classes. They enjoy meeting with new and current students and can help in many ways with questions, concerns, suggestions and feedback.
