Christina Padien (RYT 500) began practicing yoga over 15 years ago. Having completed her YogaWorks 500-Hour Teacher Training, she teaches in San Francisco and the greater San Francisco Bay area. An eager student, Christina’s studies focus on alignment-based vinyasa, restorative and therapeutic-based yoga, as well as the benefits of pranayama and meditation. Her teaching style is also influenced by her strong foundation in dance, pilates and strength training. Her classes are a blend of slow flow, alignment instruction and breath focus. In her own words - “In today’s hectic world, I believe that asana, pranayama and meditation are fundamentals to maintaining a healthy mind, body and spirit, so I encourage students to be adventurous, while remaining true to their needs.” Christina’s hope is that each student leaves her class feeling more grounded and happier than they were when they arrived on their mat.
